Our History

Gospel Alliance grew out of Campus Revivalist Squad (CRS). CRS started in 2007 as a response to the burden for revival in the hearts of a few of us as undergraduates. The primary vision of CRS was to mobilize the church on campus to pray, and to prepare young men and women to shoulder definite responsibility for the church and the progress of the gospel. As most of the founding members of CRS graduated and went into the larger society we felt the need to:

  • Come together at various intervals to remind ourselves of God’s dealings over the years, and to fellowship with one another.
  • Hold ourselves accountable and ensure we are on track with the Lord.
  • Provide needed ministerial support, especially training and discipleship for those coming after us.
  • Explore other fields of ministries we could be involved with such as missions’ mobilization, Christian Publications, Outreaches and Conferences.
