It is along this line of our love, of our personal relationship with him, that God test our heart. It is not our ability that is tested, not our knowledge, but our heart; your heart for God (1Thess 2:4). He brings us to a point where we must give an honest answer to the question “loveth thou me?…” It is only on this basis that trust can be committed to a man.
