BIRTH PANGS
‘’My children, of whom I am again in birth-pains till Christ is formed in you” Gal 4:19
God in all his dealings with us have just one objective. That Christ be formed in us. This is the way to be conformed to the image of Christ (See Rom.8:29). The coming of Lord Jesus Christ, and all He went through by way of the cross is to bring many sons unto glory. There can be no birthing of children without going through birth pangs. All that the Lord Jesus went through is describe in terms of birth pains: “He shall see of the travail of his soul and shall be satisfied.” Isa 53:11
Birth pangs refer to the pains that comes with giving birth. Most mothers will tell you that it cannot be described, you can only know it by passing through the experience.
